When dry it is rough but once you turn on the shower the Loofah softens and provides a great scrub for your back.

It has a beautiful wood finish that makes it look like a very expensive product. The loofa is ample and the style is excellent. It looks great hanging in my shower by the cute little rope on the end. I would highly recommend this brush. My boyfriend loved it.
